Dating back to 6,000 BC, surface irrigation has been used to water crops. Maintaining our ditch systems, headgates and diversions is a year-round job, ensuring optimal conditions for spring/summer watering.

 “Regenerative Agriculture” describes farming and grazing practices that, among other benefits, rebuilds soil organic matter and restores degraded soil biodiversity – resulting in both carbon drawdown and improving the water cycle. 

The ranch is home to a variety of wildlife including deer, Great Horned and Barn owls, hawks, eagles, ducks, geese, dove, quail, and many more critters.
